Dr. Janet Mack, our Chief of Staff, was born in Hartford and raised in Windsor, Connecticut. She graduated from Quinnipiac University and from Thomas Jefferson University's top rated ultrasound program. She worked in the human ultrasound field for several years, before finally achieving her life long goal of entering The University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. While earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, Dr. Mack was instrumental in the introduction of the use of ultrasound at that institution.
Since graduation from UPenn, she has worked in Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont and New Hampshire performing veterinary ultrasound services including echocardiograms, ultrasound-guided biopsy, aspirations, etc.
Dr. Mack is married and has five children, five dogs, six cats, and four horses (similar to Dr. Lewis!). Her non-work hours are spent with her family, riding horses, running, swimming, or doing needlepoint. Everyone loves Dr. Mack, with good reason.
